I started collecting service bulletins for Kaiser-Frazer products many years ago. In the first issue of the KFOCI Quarterly magazine that I edited I published an article on service bulletins. This CD presents the materials that I have accumulated up to this point in the form of a database that can be searched in a fairly simple way to access information. There are a total of 538 service bulletins (418 from Kaiser-Frazer in 456 files and 82 from Kaiser-Willys) comprising 1173 pages.
I did the project using the catalog feature available in the program Adobe Acrobat 5 which is what I own at present. There are later versions and the latest is 7 which I have never used. The free readers from Adobe had a search feature that had to be downloaded as an extra. Version 7 of the free reader is now available for distribution and the search is built in. The reader on my laptop is Version 6 and it has the search feature. I am including the reader 7 for Windows XP on the CD. You will need it or some other version of either the full Acrobat or the reader that includes search. All the directions on the CD assume you are using version 7 of the reader although reader 6 seems to handle the search pretty much the same as 7. You can print the directions for easier reference as you learn the procedure for searching.

The factory did not publish a Shop Manual for the Darrin, but they did supply service information most of which was originally published for other models. In Service Bulletin 275 there is a list of the suggested information. This CD has that information. The complete Henry J Shop Manual is included as is the Overdrive Manual. The portions of the 51 KF Shop Manual covering the brakes is included. The engine portion of the Willys Shop Manual is included. Also included are SB 275 along with SB 176 (the old KF 416), which covers advanced service information and SB 258 which covers plastic body repair.
