Make-a-Bed
(MISC-1) This is an item that will let you convert your Kaiser into a Nash--you can fold the seats to make the interior into a double bed. This device was manufactured by H. P. Ripley of Ithaca, New York. A Canadian member informs me that his Dad purchased this item as part of the deal he got on a new Kaiser. I don't recall how I came to have this folder, but it's certainly unique. Also, I can testify that the back seat of a Kaiser makes a fairly comfortable bed without this kit especially if you can open the doors. Those Kaiser seats are wide. This little folder measures 5 x 3 3/4 and opens to 10 x 3 3/4 inches. I am showing the closed and open views of the folder. The back of folder identifies the maker and has a space for dealer stamp.
