Bill Says: It is now time to
organize your restoration by writing down a high level plan.
A good plan is a critical ingredient for success.
He suggest you
first jot down your ideas as "one liners". Below is our list: |
OUR
BASIC GOAL - Keep car as original as possible while adding safety,
dependability and creature comforts features. |
1) Insulate and sound
deaden
unseen surfaces wherever possible. |
2) Only use replacement parts
which look like the original from the factory, are truly NOS or have
been rebuilt
wherever possible. |

4) Paint Car original factory
color using modern paints.
5) Replace all of the
braking components and use silicone brake fluid. |
6) If it
becomes necessary to rebuild the engine, add hardened valve seats. |
7) Do all the
work ourselves, or with the help of our friends. |
8) Have final paint
applied by professional painter. |
